OUR RECOMMENDATION: GOLDEGG LAKE TRAIL (L1, SEELOIPE)

Push off: The Goldegg Lake Trail leading around the lake is where to start. It’s always groomed and always has fresh powder. Glide past the castle and the village and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

Stats: 1.4 km (0.87 mi) long, consistently flat terrain, classic and skating style.
Difficulty level: easy
Entry point: Below the hotel parking lot.

OUR RECOMMENDATION: BUCHBERG TRAIL (L2)

Experience different levels: the Buchberg Trail also starts directly in front of the hotel. Once you’re level with the swimming area, it branches off from the Lake Trail and takes you through the forest in a big loop over the golf course to Buchbergdörfl and then back through the forest to the lake.

Stats: 6.4 km (4 mi), approx. 70 m (230 ft) of elevation gain, classic and skating style.
Difficulty level: moderate to difficult.

OUR RECOMMENDATION: OLYMPIC TRAIL (L3)

Steep going up, steep going down: The Olympic Trail is a challenge to climb, but it offers exhilarating descents through the hilly terrain around the forest. Only recommended for ambitious skiers when there’s enough snow.

Stats: 3.1 km (1.9 mi), approx. 60 m (197 ft) of elevation gain, skating style.
Difficulty level: difficult.
Entry point: Below the hotel parking lot. Follow the Lake and Buchberg Trails. After the turnaround point in Buchbergdörfl below the golf course clubhouse, turn right and head up the steep incline toward the edge of the woods.
